This allowed every citizen of Karlsruhe \u2013 and everyone attached to this manufactory \u2013 to take home a piece of Majolika history. Over 1,500 people attended the preview alone, some with tears in their eyes; bids came from Karlsruhe, all over Germany, and the entire world.
